How it all started 

I am a third-year accounting student at Telfer School of Management. Since high school, I has been extremely involved in the world of accounting with multiple achievements in classes such as Managerial Accounting, Cost Accounting, Tax, Audit and many more. During the summer of 2021, I started using the skillsets I learned from these classes to help my friend's businesses. I started this small side hustle working as a bookkeeper and kept track of the financial documents of multiple businesses owned by my friends. Within a year, what started as a small favour to my friend led to becoming a business with over 15 clienteles. I currently acts as a bookkeeper for small businesses all over Ottawa and has developed a reputation accordingly. I truly believe one of the best features about my businesses which allows me to captures all these small businesses is my extremely competitive prices for a high end level service. Normally, bookkeeping from corporate firms charge small businesses a fortunate which they truly cannot afford. Seeing these corporations taking advantage of these businesses allowed myself to move towards a cheaper and sustainable services in order for small businesses to continue growing while using these services. I truly believe in valuing customer growth over financial growth as I sees the potential to grow with my customers. I has developed countless of skill sets and have learned the usage of multiple financial softwares during my bookkeeping projects. Currently, one of the first business I was bookkeeping for had reached over $500,000 in sales just in 2021. 

These projects have very much defined Ninam's abilities and have really became the foundation of Ninam's growth in the world of accounting. His knowledge in different ERPs systems such as D365, Quickbooks, SAP, and IFS helped Ninam feel comfortable when handling the load of accounting paperwork. Additionally, his time in Agriculture and Agri Food Canada allowed Ninam to display his budgeting skills and has strategic skills. Due to these experiences, Ninam is currently on his way to work with a corporate accounting firm this Fall to gain more accounting knowledge which he could use in order to help his small business. Ninam is extremely dedicated to grow in order to fully capitalize his potential in the world of accounting. He aspires to get his CPA in the near future and want to see how far he could go with his knowledge. 

My number one goal this year is to gain at least 20 clients by the end of the year 2022 and display progress in all aspects of my accounting skills. I am currently focused on helping Ottawa businesses and plan to grow to other cities within the next 5 years. Bookkeeping has truly helped myself in more than one ways. I believe the main reason why my clients have a good relationship with me is insights I provide with the collected financial documents on the business. Not only do I help the company on the bookkeeping aspects, I provides small businesses with different insights which allows the company for a more financial growth. With different strategies I presents to the business owners, they see themselves in a situation to grow. These growth allows myself to be part of the journey which overall helps me to retain these loyal clients.
